There are six (!) wineries on Bainbridge Island. You could be forgiven for not knowing about most of them, since most are new. In fact, go back to 2006 and there were only two with wines available. Then in 2007, two more burst onto the scene, and two more crushed their first grapes as well! So the wine scene here on Bainbridge could most accurately be described as "dynamic", which is a shorthand way of saying that anything we write down about it is probably out of date before the ink dries.
