1 Tablespoon flour mixed with 2 Tablespoon water. Oil, as needed
Instructions
In a mixing bowl, combine all ingredients and mix well with your hands. Form into 2-inch diameter meatballs and set aside.
Heat a little oil in a medium skillet over medium heat and brown each meatball evenly, rotating so all sides are browned. Transfer meatballs to a baking dish and add beef broth. Cover with foil and bake at 375º F. approximately 1 to 2 hours, or until fully cooked and tenderized. Let cool slightly, and remove meatballs from the broth. Strain broth, and transfer broth to a medium-sized saucepan.
Bring broth to a simmer over medium heat. Whisk in flour and water slurry, stirring very well to avoid lumps. Cook until well thickened but still gravy-like.
